Become a Greeter

London Greeters come from all walks of life. They share a passion for their city and delight in sharing their knowledge with visitors.

It is not necessary to have previous experience of this kind of voluntary work, just the confidence to start. We all have come from different walks of life and have much to offer in this type of voluntary.

London Greeters are volunteers and you can choose when and where you conduct your Greets. Whatever your age, gender, race or faith, if you want to find out more about becoming a Greeter, complete the form below.

“You should be willing to share your love for the city in an enthusiastic and hospitable manner.  A Greeter will walk you through their city for a couple of hours and make visitors experience London in a unique way.  For family, friends and people travelling solo – a truly enriching experience.”

Myra Newman

“Show the visitors from all over the world your neighbourhood and share your knowledge. You will be delighted to see how happy you have made them! It has given me enormous pleasure.”

Ranee Barr

“You should know and love your district and don’t be shy about your knowledge. We have all kinds of Greet Guests from many countries including Britain, and they are friendly and just want to know what it is like to live in London.”

Roger Mason
